Cool Still Cranks But Won't Start

Hi guys! Happy Hollowen. Thanks for the help on my 01 psd however I have tried what you have recommened but it still cranks and won't start. Any other ideas???

I pulled codes today with a friends generic scanner and it said no codes found. I charged batts to make sure I had 10.5 volts required by the injectors. The truck has been in a heated building all day. I check the fuel filter. Changed the CPS. Not sure what else it could be.

Anyone have any ideas of what else to try?

Thanks Matt

Any chips or programmers in your set up? Might want to recheck your CPS connection again.

Tom, no chips or programing. The truck is all stock.

Jethro, No there is no smoke while cranking. Where is the IPR?

Thanks for the help!

Back side of the Hpop drivers side is where the IPR is located. I'd still check your CPS since that is what you had just changed.

I agree with Lost. Check your CPS first. If that doesnt work then my money is on the IPR. There are high pressure orings on it that help route fuel to the injectors. Without these orings or one bein split they get no oil which meens no fuel. It is located on the back side of the HPOP on the drivers side. Should be almost right in front of the Fuel Bowl.

In order to narrow it to your CPS go crank the truck and watch the RPM guage. While cranking if it dont move or "bounce" then it is the CPS. If it does then most likely IPR. Hope this helps Zeigler.
