Hello all I am obviously a new member here. Up until two months ago I had owned 3 Silverados in a row. I recently purchased a black 2010 F-150 XL with the 4.6. Since then I have upgraded the sound system, added nerf bars (so my wife can climb in a bit easier) and replaced the stock exhaust with a 3 inch Dynomax cat back system. I owned a 1990 Ranger with the 3.0 back in the day, and loved that truck. Unfortunately up here in Maine, as with many other parts of the country the winters, and salt rotted it out from under me. Ran great, but unsafe. I look forward to learning a ton from the member here!

mark64,

WELCOME ABOARD.

Understood.
When I was stationed at Ft Drum NY long ago, I had to go to TN to find a rust-free truck, as most everything, that I could afford, was RUSTY.

Bon,

HI Mike. WELCOME ABOARD.

Sounds like a GREAT project.
(I like old trucks better than new ones. - My "new truck" is 30 years old.)

Hello everyone!!

Hello everyone!! I'm new to this site, looking to get more info about my truck to help maintain my baby. She's the only form of transportation I've got to get my children and I from point A to point B, 1994 Ford Explorer. I'm from California and look forward to getting to know you all and vice versa. Thank you for having me here.

GalBobbie,

Fyi, I recently bought a "very low mileage", one-owner 1986 XLT Lariat 6.9 diesel PU, that has been stored in a hay-barn for 11 years & "forgotten" to restore to "factory stock". - MANY members here have offered me great/EXPERT advice, help & support in "resurrecting" the old Lariat.
(NICE FOLKS here, imo.)

Hopefully, within 30 days, it will be FINISHED, licensed as an antique vehicle & "on the road".

yours, satx
