Hello everyone! I am from Western North Dakota. Just recently got back into a Ford after driving Chevy for a few years. Loving my SD, it's a 2006 V10, 1" leveling kit, 285's:

I am not a professional photographer by any means. Just wanted to introduce myself, great website.

Thumbs up Ford Blues

Hi, I am new to this forum. Probably like most of you I have found this site because I am having trouble with my truck.(I will get to that later) I also have a Can Am Spyder Roadster. No kids, but I have 4 dogs and a cat.
If there is anythng else you would like to know, just ask is my motto, it will still be my discretion to tell or not.

Thanks

Low mileage 2005 F250 V10, 4 X 4, CC

On August 31, we picked up a White, 2005 F250 CC, SB, 4 X 4, Lariat V10, 4.10LS, camper shell with 17,389 miles from the original owner. Truck was purchased locally in Northern California (the same town where I work, and approximately 9 miles from our home). My wife knows the previous owner, the agreed price on the sale was $17.5K.

The primary use of our F250 will be to haul our horses, trips to our cabin and road trips.

Introducing myself to this great website! Kenny, from northern Indiana. Currently own a 1997 F350, a 2000 Ranger XLT, and a 2003 F 250 Lariat. Plan on trading the Lariat in on a 2011 F 150 SuperCab. Currently on order, expected by the end of the month.
Wife drives a 2005 Mustang, plus we also have a 1988 Porsche 944, and a 1968 GTO in the stables.

New to here and I dont own a Ford yet

Thanks for this forum people!!!
so I don't own a Ford yet, but I am shopping!
I am looking at a 2006 F250 SD with the 6.0L, auto, Ext cab, long bed . This truck has 51,250 miles on it. Looks good so far.
Okay what do I need to know before I buy? What part of this forum is that information in? What questions should I ask the seller/dealership?

BTW,
I currently drive a 2005 Jeep Liberty, Trail Rated (of course), 2.8L CRD (Common Rail Diesel), auto, stock sans the K&N filter.
This little bad boy is my "putt putt", I repeat that over and over as I climb by the big V-8s, I LOVE IT.

But I need a truck.

No stupid questions except those that aren't asked.

Driveline Vibration

Hello, My first post, wasn't sure how to post, I like this site, joined awhile ago, the forums are very helpful.

I own 2000 F350 7.3L EX cab long bed, no lift kit, stock tires.
Here is the problem, driveline vibration 35-34mph, above and below very smooth. The u-joints, carrier bearing replaced, greased the slip joint (did this myself. marked before disassemble).

No vibration before this was done. Had machine shop do work (joints and carrier brg), when I got it back shaft was marked, appears went on the way it came off. The new u-joints have grease fitting , old didn't.

Any ideas, I'm taking to drive shaft place to have it balanced. The said drive-shaft vibration usually occurs at higher speeds, ie 50-70mph.
Also a note, when I lubed the slip-joint the thud/clunk when taking off from stop went away.

thanks, Mark
