Hey, I joined because you guys are the only ones with any information about the 6.6 and 7.8 engines. I don't have one yet, but I have been looking.
I had a DT466, and I currently have a Chevy 6.5td. I am a fan of medium duty diesels, the consumer grade stuff doesn't interest me.

I just got my 97 expy and have been things around on it, it has 250..00 on it and feels to be quite strong. i change all the lights, went with the leds on the interior and running boards, just got finish doing the dash board. lot of light, got to see and want to be seen out there on the road with the no driving people here in california, i used to work on cars back in the day when you built your motor for what you want it to do, no computers or mags. we had simple points and they went double points, you old school people know what i am talking about. had a bout of cancer last year and got through with well. just turn 69 in november and feel great. i just found out i have a problem with truck, i am getting power to radio fuse, can anybody out there help me, please . jerry
I was told that I have the "Million Mile Motor" and I'm as happy as a pig in a slop trough!!!! Granted I gotta deal with "Obake's"
(Japanese for Ghosts), but all because she sat for 3 years till my Mom bought it & I fired her up. I came here to get "educated" by
others who have had their Diesels longer than me. I'm 61 & been wrenching gas & diesel most of my life, but the Powerstroke has had
me stumped. I'm hoping we all can learn together & share what we've learned.
Big Aloha to EVERYBODY from this Old Hawaiian Hillbilly!!!

Hi. I've been a lurker for years and gathered a lot of useful information when I was looking. Finally decided to register and ask a question since Google wasn't able to find the info I need.
I'm working on a 76 F600 fire truck. It came to me in very good condition with only 11,000 original miles. I'm hoping to keep it running for a long time.

I just joined FTE and looking for tech assistance. I've purchased an "inoperable" '05 F450 SD w/ V10 & Manual Tran and want to set it up as a single axle dump. How do I post a new tech question? (concerning missing module near fuse panel - two connectors in wiring harness that don't have a place to land.)
Thanks.
Scott
Thanks.
