Hi, hi, hi from Argentina

I am a Marian and I am very happy that they accept me in this group.
I like all truck models from 40 to 70 and their engines. especially the latter
Here in Argentina there were many models that did not come armed as in use and I am interested in reconstructing the history of I am vehicles.
regards

Hello out there. I am awaiting delivery of my first Super Duty. I ordered a 2019 F-350 Lariat CCSBSA on September 19, 2018. It was delivered to my dealer on December 6, 2018. I saw the truck in the lot after delivery and took photos. I finally got a call from my salesman yesterday, December 10th, and he wanted to know when I wanted to pick it up. I responded, Yesterday! He was supposed to check to see if it had been prepped, and call me right back. I gave up after 10 hours of sitting by the phone. It is Ruby Red, Beautiful and I would like to take delivery. The Dealership has been no help since it was ordered. Customer Service is not a priority for them. I complained to ford and the sales manager called me back several days later and offered no explanation or apologizes. I will post again when I get another call. This is far from the 6 weeks originally promised. This may be typical, but not expected for this sizable purchase.

Hello All. Just picked up a 2019 F250 Lariat. Love the truck. I came from my last truck, a 2000 Tacoma PreRunner. Big change in vehicle but i couldn't be more happy about it. I am in the SF Bay Area. Probably not the best truck to buy here but i don't care. It will get used very nicely to tow our Motorcycle Racing trailer. Only plans at this point are to do the ReadyLift 2.5" leveling kit and 35's. I will probably tint the front windows as well to match the back.

Hello everyone. I bought a 2017 left-over F250 in July of this year. It a white XL 4x4 with the XLT package, snow plow package, extended cab with 8 foot bed, 6.2L V8, running boards and spray-in bed liner. We use it to pull a 7000 lb travel trailer while carrying my 1998 BMW R1100R. Love the truck so far. Right now we are in the Keys and the truck just got its first oil change. Just learned about the “death wobble” on this forum. Have not experienced it. This my 2nd Ford pickup. Looking forward to learning about my truck from all the much more experienced owners!

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to the Blue Oval Brand, but new to this forum. I currently bought a 1978 F250 2WD and I'm going to resto it into a daily driver! Thanks for the add and I thank you all, in advance, for the help

Hey everyone. I'm not really new to the ford scene, just took a break for a few years. I was a lurker here for a few years 2007-2011. While I may be relatively new to this site, I was quite active over on TacomaWorld and Ih8mud.com under Taco47001. I'm no stranger to the forum community. Anyway, I just picked up an 03' Excursion PSD EB edition with 103K on it. I took a few years off from fords. I've been driving since 1996 and every car/ truck I had ever owned was a ford, until 2012. I went the Toyota route. While I LOVE my Toyotas, they aren't up to the task of hauling our camper and boat as effectively as I'd like. A few of my past fords starting in order of purchase, 1986 Tempo (first car), 1993 Probe GT, 2000 Ranger, 2001 F150 4x4 EXCab, 2008 Super duty Crew Cab 5.4L V8, 2006 Lincoln LS (Black on Black and was wifes car), and now the 2003 X PSD. I'm learning an actual F**k TON of information via this site as this is my first diesel. Thank you all for the time you've spent thus far making this site what it clearly is and I hope I can contribute in some fashion in the future.

Lonny

Howdy,

Have used this forum/community countless times for projects, how-to's, advice and more recently, determining what would be best for the next truck. Needless to say, I'm familiar with the search feature.

Background was a '97 OBS F250 that was sold years ago. Not surprisingly, I wanted another truck about a week later. Thus began the research on what would be best for me and my applications. Took some time and several flip-flops, but eventually decided on one. Now I just had to find it.

Over three years of daily searches on CL, E-bay and every other avenue to find used vehicles, including countless trips (sometimes in the next state). I finally found one that was close/clean enough within my budget. 1985 F250 6.9L 4x4 4spd. Best part, it was sitting in someone's backyard "resting" only 23 miles away. After a couple batteries and a gentle wake-up call, it was able to drive to his new home in my driveway!

Anywho, felt it was time to sign-up and contribute what I can about the process of getting this guy back to fighting form.

Best Regards,
85-Explorer

Welcome Lonny!

Like you, just purchased my first diesel a week ago. Knew very little about diesels until deciding on one a few years ago. Used this forum extensively to make that decision on what was best for me.

Congrats on your new truck!

Welcome!

Like you, just purchased my first diesel. Done very minimal research up until a couple years ago and most of it was on this forum.

Congrats on your new truck!
