I have had my 1999.5 F250 SD manual 7.3 since 2008 or 2009, or maybe earlier than that. I have had it so long, I can't remember when ! It has been a great truck and I have had almost no issues with it, until now. I think I have broken spring(s) in my dual mass flywheel. The clutch has many miles on it too and is probably well worn. I found this site while searching for recommended clutch kits. It looks like there are many active users and this site will be a great resource as my truck gets older and mileage increases. It has 199,700 so its just a baby at this point! Eric

Welcome Antonio! A lot of knowledgeable folk here, of which I am not one.

Help educate me, what is an AMTE licence?

Bought a Boat - Got a Truck

Hello All!

I'm Dave. Made a deal last year on a friends boat. But had no way to tow it. Long story short - a couple more bucks and he "gave" me his 2006 F250 CCLB V10.
It isn't my daily driver and it isn't cosmetically the best. She's a worker w/ 218K on the odo. I'm loving having a truck back in my life for the household projects, hunting trips, kayaks, etc.
The boat will only be towed a few times a year.

Signed on here b/c I have the P0420 code and I'll be looking for help. So you'll see me in over in that area first!

Looking forward to learning from those before me - hopefully I have something to offer too.

site help

Hi All.
I'm a newbie.
I own many Fords.
My latest is a 2016 F450 dually.
I came on the site to find some experiences with the F450, but I can't figure out how to make a post.
It says I need to make "x" amount of posts before I can PM and all, but I can't seem to make a post.

Fords: Edge, F250 gas, F450 6.7 diesel dually, F550 V10 gas stake, F550 6.0 diesel stake, F550 6.7 diesel DT.
