Just joined up for help dealing with a truck we call "Goldie"

She is a 1979 F-250 camper special with under 40k miles.

She was my mother-in laws truck and has been resting in my back yard now for a few years. As you can see I have a few projects to work on.

She has dual tanks, a 460 under the hood, AC Cab with green seats.

I had her running at one point, was going to sell it to a friend who did something to the carb and now I can't get her to run. We are going to get back working on her.

Cheers
RustyNCA

Thanks, and opps, how did I end up in the Super Duty forum? Not correct place for me, eh? Unless my 03 Excursion counts?

Hello

Hello all. My first unit was a brand new 1979 F100. It had the 300 six and a 3spd column shift. No power steering, no power brakes, no A/C, no radio, just a basic unit. Then I had an '88 F150, 302, 5spd; then a '94 F150, 300 six and a 5 spd; then a 2014 F150, 302, A/T; and now I have a 2016 F250SD/XLT.
Oh, "gizmo" is really 'Gizmo', who is my border collie, and right now he wants to go out so I have to sign off.

Hello,

Currently doing a frame off restoration on my 1978 Bronco. I have the body stripped down and off the frame. The frame is stripped down and getting ready to be sent out for blasting and powder-coating. I have a 460 block out of a 1972 Thunderbird, and D0VE-C heads that I am building for the engine. My plans are to Line-X the underside, the floor, and the outer body up to the chrome molding mid-line. Thanks for having me, hope to get some advice and maybe give some down the line.

I just got my truck last year. Its a 2011 F250 diesel. So far I deleted it and changed the head light bulb. Now its smoking a bit on cold or wet days and I'm losing antifreeze (very slowly and don't know where). I was checking around on the web and found this sight. Hopefully somebody can help.

Newbie

I'm new to the forum... I am purchasing a 73 f250. It's rough but the price was right. 390. Manual tranny. Likely going to replace all the wiring asap , I already read several threads so thanks in advance. Only thing I'm unsure about is the fuel tank. It currently has a fuel tank in the rear, and what looks like abandoned cab tank, and front of the bed... think I might either upgrade the rear capacity or replace the front bed tank... any opinions?

Red face Newbie here!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday night and gets to spend the weekend doing what you love.

I'm so very happy to have found this forum and maybe someone can help me here since I'm pretty sure my mechanics are now thinking that I have Münchhausens by proxy on my car...

Have a great night everyone and Ford on!

Dana
