hey guys posted some problems with my truck a few weeks back, with the oil cooler and fuel in oil. well the dealer i called today said oil cooler, egr cooler, egr valve and 5 fuel injectors need replaced now. i figured that the oil cooler would take out the egr cooler from being clogged? also but what would cause the injectors to leak? i change the fuel filters every 7000mi and use clean fuel and powerservice at every fillup why would they be leaking? bad seals, bad design or design warpage ? please help so that i can stop doing or start doing someting that will make the injectors last longer than 33k.

 

What oil are you using which might or might not make a difference on the injectors. Are you using straight diesel or Bio ???

 

What brand fuel and oil filters do you use?

 

i use racor filtors all around use powerservce fuel additve and mobil delvac 1 esp 5w-40 cj-4 full syn oil for the last year, and before that used mobil 1 turbo diesl oil ci-4 plus oil.

 

it sounds like your doing everything you can do to keep your engine running right. although at your mileage these issues are not typical its not unheard of. i have had all the stuff you mentioned go bad in my truck too.
