Magnet in tranny pan..

So this past weekend I had planned on getting busy on my slipping transmission but almost suddenly came to a head scratcher.

Dang!
Does anyone know if there is a part number for these magnets? Will any magnet do? Would it work if I used a much stronger magnet on the outside of the pan? Just didnt wanna put everything back together with this not there as a failsafe. Thanks. You guys have been a huge help.

Actually, I didn't have one in my C6 transmission pan either. I'm not even sure if they are supposed to have them. The E4OD does, but not sure of the C6.
