New Mods for the 07 F-350.

Upgraded a few things on the 07 F-350 6.0 PSD Super Cab Long Bed.

New Ford 7000lb coils (5C3Z-5310-AA). You can see where the bumpstop was contacting the pad on the axle with the 6000lb coils that were on the truck.
Also Bilstein 5100 series shocks since IMO the stock shocks suck
Bilstein 5100 - 1.5"-2.5" Front Lift Application - 2005-2008 Superduty 4wd - 5100 Series (Lifted Applications) - Truck Toyz Store
Bilstein 5100 - 0"-1" Rear Lift Application - 2005-2008 Superduty 4wd - 5100 Series (Lifted Applications) - Truck Toyz Store

Since my axle was off center with the 6000lb coils and I picked up an additional 0.75" of height with the 7000lb coils (which pulled it more to the driver's side) I also decided to go with the Icon Vehicle Dynamics adjustable trac bar:
Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2005-2008 FSD Adjustable Pan Rod - Adjustable Track Bars - Truck Toyz Store

And since I was never a fan of the handling of the truck in stock specs and new the slight increase in height would also give me a slightly more negative caster, I opted for the caster cams that are used with the Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5" Leveling system:
Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2005-2008 FSD Alignment Cam Kit - Front Suspension Alignment Cams - Truck Toyz Store

Comparison to the stock cams:

Of course earlier this year I had thrown the stock stabilizer in the trash and installed the Icon Vehicle Dynamics dual steering stabilizer setup:

The truck rides, handles and steers much better now. No more bottoming out, much firmer, more controlled ride, tighter more responsive steering and the amount of feedback through the steering wheel going over rough sections of road is now virtually non-existent (stock I'd have to have a death grip on the wheel over certain intersections and RR crossings). I should have done these upgrades the day I bought the truck, IMO.

I've held off on upgrading the suspension as I wasn't sure if I was going to run a snow plow on this truck or not. Since I got a 9'2" Boss Power-V XT earlier this month, I picked out the parts I used accordingly.

Thanks.

But, I'm not so sure I'll get tired of playing with my trucks

Very nice Dan! Do you have any before and after shots from the side of your truck?

Nice setup! Are the 7000 lb springs listed for 250/350 applications? I remember you mentioning 550 springs on another thread, are these them?

Very nice... before I got the DR 2.5" kit I upgraded my springs to 6000lb ones and it made a big difference in how the truck handled.

How much of a difference did the Icon dual stabilizer kit make? I've been thinking about getting one but its a little pricey.

I have before pics. I'll have to take an after pic. Only went up 0.75" or so but it's noticeable to me.

They are all the same size, but AFAIK you can't get a 250/350 from the factory with the 7000lb springs.
My truck has the snow plow package from Ford and it came with the 6000lb coils. The 7000s only come on the 450 and 550 from the factory.

With the stocker in the trash and the Icon on, it's night and day difference.
Stock I had almost zero return to center and I'd get excessive feedback through the steering wheel going over rough sections of road, dips in the road, etc..
Now, my return to center is very crisp and I can keep the truck in my lane w/o needing a death grip on the wheel.

With all the upgrades now it drives like a completely different truck.

I know I'm ressurecting a thread here, but I'm about to try to put alignment cams into my truck, but I can't find a reliable source for install info.Icon has pretty good tech normally, but their install instructions are pretty weak for this:
http://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/p...con_6-2530.pdf

I've had people tell me a I need a spanner socket to back the old sleeves out, but the new ones aren't threaded?

Who's actually installed these themselves and can kind of walk me through this
