To me the size of the wheels depends on the size of the tires you want to run. If you are running near stock size then 17's are about as big as I would go. if you are looking at bigger tires no smaller than 35 in tires then 18's would look fine. It all depends on taste though. I am a bit country in my taste and I want my tires to have some side wall for the sand dunes and occasional off road.

Yes i fully agree to what you say, i am living in Germany and i will just my F-250 to pull my 24" trailer to car shows .. and no sand or so, .. i would go for 20" or so with low profile tires... so the dimensions are same to 15" with big tires....

It is more a nice work trunk with larger wheels.. maybe 18" will also be enough.

to my knowledge low profile tires won't hold as much weight. then again i'm not a big fan of Low pros anyways, but to everybody their own. LoL

The toolbox is no big deal. just go buy one and bolt it on the bed. some people use j-hooks to hook the bed and some people bolt straight through the bed. i bolted mine straight through the bed...

Since your going to be towing a lot with the truck i would definitely do the 6637 intake or you can order an intake from tymar performance and i would also put on a 3" downpipe and 4" exhaust to keep the egt's down. a good chip from dp-tuner dot com or tony wildman at totaldieselperformance dot com with a good tow program would make pulling nicer also if you want to do that.

I would shim the fuel pressure regulator and clean the fuel pressure regulator screen for sure. the screen gets dirty very easy and usually is filthy.

Hello ....
first thank you all for replying and helping me, also on pms for the help!
My truck is getting now upgraded in lots of parts, this is what i bought so far:

Class IV, 2 inch Trailer Receiver Hitch
Strait-Line Weight Distribution Trunnion Bar Kit (1,200 lb) with Hitch Bar
Electric brake Controller - Teshonka P3 Electronic Brake Control
7-Way Combo Adapter with Mounting Bracket
Class V Chrome Hitch Ball - 2 5-16 inch
True Cool Transmission cooler HD 40.000 GVW
Dee Zee Dimond Plate Toolbox
MBRP Single Side Off-Road exaust

Now still did not made up my mind on the air intake and also on the wheels

I will go for Mickey Thompson wheels and tires. Now here is question, what would you go for?

Classic Lock

Classic II

Classic Lock is 17" and the Classic II is 18"

Let me know what you think, and what would look better?

Thanks
Fabian

The AFE's get good reports from folks on this site. The K&N systems are frowned upon due to dirt getting past the filters. The 6637 mod mentioned is a cheap version of the AFE. Works just fine, just not as clean of a look under the hood, although, with Pete's filter cover, looks pretty good. The AFE will probably hide the turbo drone you might experience with the 6637 filter. If you plan on doing a lot of towing, you might want the AFE. I've got the 6637 on 2 trucks. The work truck, the drone can get a little annoying going up long hills.

I like the classic II's. I just don't care for fake bead locks. my dad had the locks on his SD for a while. They are not clear coated which is good and bad. Good if you don't driving in winter with salted roads bad if you do. Not sure what the winters are like there in Germany.
