New Guy from Illinois
Hi all,
My name is Matt I am a long time Ford Truck fan with a special place in my heart for 66 f100s. I learned how to drive in a red custom cab long bed with a 352 and 3 on the tree. Let me tell you that truck was tough as nails. Since Then I have owned a 79 f 150 stepside 4x4, 84 f 150 2x4, 95 f150 4x4, 99 Expidition, 2000 Explorer, and a 2000 Ranger 2x4. Right now I don't own a Ford truck I have a 05 Mitsubishi Outlander (its what my wife wanted). I do have plans to buy a 66 in the future but that will be awhile. I have been out of work most of the year because of health issues and have have some bills that I have to catch up on before I can take on any new projects. Until then I'll be here learning as much as I can before I get serious abuot buying a truck.

Well Matt glad to have you here. I'm sorry that it took so long for myself or someone else to welcome you. You might blame that mitsu you have but that's no real excuse for our bad manners. The best excuse is that most of us are hard at work. I'm online as one of the jobs I do got rained out and I am sitting around on call with the tow truck. There will be lots of advice for you to put to good use when you get your next Ford.
