which tank?
27,30, or the big one...35.7 I think
sounds like you have the 27 gallon tank. my 30 gallon tank nets me about 170-180 at a 1/2 tank with city MPG
you also have to remember that these gas tanks keep a huge reserve. I filled up yesterday and my needle was below the 1/4 tank point. I put 21 gallons into it...so 9 gallons were in "Reserve"

I'm getting anywhere from 8.5-14.5 MPG's with mine. The 8.5 is towing the camper on some of thoes Pa interstate hills.. and the 14.0 14.5 is flat driving on the interstate.. I'm also turning 35 inch tires... I have the 3'flowmaster exhaust (cat back) K&N air intake and filter throttle body spacer edge box to watch the temps.. I'm happy with my truck..

I d belive my EDGE box was a 400.00 doller bill well spent... I did the exhaust and intake at the sametime. then i added the edge in dec of last year and the t-body spacer in july. As for intake i'm just using a normal K&N filter and intake no bells and whistles... Again towing the toy hauler i got about 175 miles out of a tank of gas normaly close to 300... i have the 27 gal tank.

Cool! Time for the first oil change.
I wouldn't even track MPG until you hit 2K. Then you can watch it go up once you get around 5K on it. Most say 7500 is the magic mark. For some V10's, 15K! is the magic mark.
Make sure you romp on it every now and then. Babied engines develop rings issues later in life.
