Faster RPM Drop
Would putting a lighter flywheel on make the rpm's drop faster?

Yes, quicker to rev, quicker to come down.

Are you trying to improve performance or fix a problem as per Conanski's post--if, for example, you have a lingering high idle, that can be a carb dash pot problem, nothing to do with the flywheel...........

I'm just looking for another way to improve performance. But what is the
"carb dash pot" problem?
