6-53 Detroit in '97 F350?

I have a '97 F350 with no motor. Have been offered a Detroit 6V53 turbo'd , and rebuilt from scratch, for work performed.
Question: I don't doubt I can stuff this thing in the truck, but what about bell housing etc to bolt up to the 5 spd?
Any ideas?
This will be an awesome project.

This engine will not bolt to anything smaller than a medium duty truck transmission with an SAE bellhousing. The handfull of 6v53s I've seen in pickups were shoehorned in (it's a big motor) and I think all had allisons. It'll be a mother of a project but cool when done! I have a 4-53 powered F250 (much older) and it's got a 5 speed from a bigger truck and a divorced tcase. I've seen only one of these big diesel into pickup swaps with a really big manual (roadranger nine speed), if you're going the insane route this isn't much further to go! Used roadrangers can be had cheap, too.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case. I'll have to check it out a little further. Even so, a rebuilt screamer for a weeks work is mighty hard to turn down. I used to drive for a living and always wondered how to fit a Detroit into something other than an old Kenworth. Hmm.. got a friend with an old 2 ton grain hauler siting in the back 40. I wonder.........
