Bendix seal kit

Ordered seal kit #C6TZ3E500A from Greensales to rebuild Bendix box. Little white plastic rings that go on small cylinder that fits on the worm gear are not included. Dose anyone know of a source for these parts?
Thank You!

On the box, there would have been a tin tag attached on the top with a code for parts...like an HCE-G or similar...email or post the tags code info as in looking at the parts list for the kit and looking at what I believe to be the steering gear pic arent totally making sense in my eyes...I just wanna be sure Im looking at the parts list for the correct steering gear.
Also, how many individual parts came in the kit you ordered from Green Sales.

I will get #'s off of metal tag. The kit has all seals with exception of the 4 white seals that go on the cylinder that slids on the worm gear shaft. I do not know what this part is called. In the Ford parts book (cd) it is illustration 2 section 35.1. Part #'s for seals (rings) is 3D771.
Thank You!
The seal kit from Greensales is complete. The parts I need are not included and Greensales dosn't stock them. Greensales has been helpful in the location and identification of parts!

Greensales has been helpful in the location and identification of parts! Uh huh...
I've dealt with Green Sales for 40 years, and while they are helpful, they did NOT help much here.
They could have given you the complete part number, and used the same FoMoCo locator system I did to find them for you.
Don't bother with that tag...it isn't needed.

The same Bendix P/S gearbox was used 1966/68, thru serial # G30,000 on 1969's.

Have the parts catalog? Look here: TEXT: Section 35.1 / Parts List # 45 / Pages 24 & 25.

4) C6TZ3D771A .. Ring-Worm Gear / 1 1/2" O.D.

Here are the only Ford dealers who still have stock. No obsolete parts dealer has any.

Found these on the Ford in-house parts locator system...

Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park KS has FOUR = 800-676-0675

Kinsel L/M in Beaumont TX has FOUR = 800-816-2894

Griesel Motor Co. in Okarche OK has FOUR. No # listed.

That's all she wrote.

I went looking at the illustration and was trying to makes heads or tails of the pic and from the description of what was needed and was left scratching my head...I, after seeing what the kit was called you got from Green thought that pup would have had every small replaceable part/seal that could be replaced...I was wrong

Don...I don't think you were wrong, cuz C6TZ3E500A is the master overhaul seal kit for this P/S gearbox. There were two other kits available for the input and sector shafts.

The master kit contained all the parts in those two kits and more.

While the parts catalog only has a partial list of the kit contents, I would think that those 4 parts would have been there.

The kit came in a paper envelope with a sticky flap, so it's EZ to seal it up again.

My guess is, someone needed the parts, robbed them from the kit, never replaced them...later on Green Sales bought the kit from a dealer, and because there's no listing of all the parts, didn't know they were missing.

I found two of these kits for other members here (may have found this one too...don't recall). Both of the previous two kits were bought from Green Sales.

I never heard a peep from the other two members inre to parts being missing, so draw your own conclusions.

Bill, Great point...it also makes it easier, nowadays for these type of kits to see if they have been opened as most are in plastic bags I suspect. But I see what you are saying and you, as usual, are spot on :-)
