October North Dakota Chat & Other B/S

Got invited today, the first I heard of a ND Chapter.
I don't know who was behind starting it up, but if this is going to keep going, we have to get the posts rolling. So let me introduce myself.
My name is Blaine, and I live south of Mandan. I mainly frequent the 1948-1960 forum, as I have a '54 F100. I also have '55 F150 parts truck, and a '93 F150. My son has a 1973 F100, which was given to him when his Grandfather passed on, and a '99 F150. And my daughter has a '91 F150, so there are quite a few Ford trucks in the family.
My '54 F100 is not running, as it has been setting (outdoors) for about 30 years. But I have a good start on gather parts for it. I intend to swap in a 351W and FMX automatic, but will build more for reliability and comfort rather than speed.

Howdy Blaine, Ryan and Snowhawk
As the old saying goes.... if you build it, they will come. That is where you are with the chapter. Start off by inviting fellow members from ND to stop by and generate interest in the chapter and I am sure that if you do not mind, others will stop by also to help.
Good luck.

Hello fellow NDakotans, I am Bob. I live in Minot. My Dad works for Westlies so I have been around Fords since I was a kid. Right now I have 06 F-250 with 6" procomp lift, 35's, Dfuser coolant filter kit, Insight monitor w/egt, and a custom paint job. I haven't modded the truck any further to save on warranty issues. I had an 05 6.0l with the banks six gun and 35's. It was a great truck only issues I had were injectors and egr valves.
My other toy is a snowhawk. Just bought it this year can't wait to try it out. I will be spending most of my time working on that this winter since I am new to it, I like to get to know my machine.
I saw a 54 F100 for sale in bismarck, pretty good deal $6800 look done from the picture he had. Not yours is it, Blaine?

Hello to all!
My name is Lee, hence the "unrulee" title. Can't wait to talk with some local people!
Hey SNOWHAWK (yeah I know what one is, my boss has one), what are you currently getting for mileage with your Powerstroke? Mine is really getting bad lately. Maybe I need to take it north to Minot. My dad bought a new S'Duty there in 00' and has always had awsome service there. I'm not to enthused with what I've seen in Bis/Man as far as a service department.
