Does anyone make an aluminum front winch bumper for the '00 SuperDuty Fords?

Reunel has a really nice bumper, but all that steel adds a bit much weight for my taste. I've seen aluminum 'roo bars in Australia so it can be done.

 

I know of a company in Colorado that makes custom front bumpers for almost any truck. They are big, strong, and expensive. I believe they can make them out of Aluminum as well. email me if you want more info.

Yep, the company is Pro-Zap (www.prozap.com). I think they're pretty pricy but hey so is a new Super-Duty. You also might want to try ARB (www.arb.com.au) or TJM bull bars (they're advertised in Four Wheeler magazine, don't know they're .com)

Their steel bumper is 3/16" plate and about 170# with the brush guard (versus 1/4" plate and 320# for the Reunel.) No response yet on whether they will do an aluminum one (Reunel was a definite no.)

The Colorado guy (thanks to Chris) is working up a quote on an aluminum one. Don's Welding and Fabrication at 970-824-5149 if anyone wants to know.

ARB has only steel and nothing for full-sized Fords.
