license plate lights out

my license plate lights went out. there's not a fuse in the panel for that is there? I need to figure this out, otherwise im gonna get pulled over and bothered about it, i'm sure. Thanks guys.

Have you replaced the light bulb?

If it was a fuse none of your running lights would be working. Most likely the bulbs or something with the harness.

When they went out in my 03 I found the sockets in the bumper were rusted and shot.I just found sockets that fit and spliced them on.

Mine were all corroded and I baught new ones from NAPA and slpiced them in. I packed the socket with dielectric grease to protect them.
