how could this have happened?!?!? (fan came flying off)

loctite wont hurt the screw one bit.

Great .. I've been contemplating replacing my water pump and do the 203 stat. So far I've came up with these possible problems.

1. Bolts breaking holding water pump housing.
2. Bolts breaking on the thermostat housing.
3. Thermostat housing sealing properly.

And now if I make it through all that the possibility the fan could take a trip through the radiator. Have I missed anything ?

LOL bleeding knuckles from all them broken bolts

Don't forget bleeding bolts from all the bloody knuckles.
