Could it be bad gas?
OK so thing morning i leave for work and its running fine. Found gas for $3.07 so i filled up (took 21 gal.) and it ran fine for the next 15 miles or so. Left work and i felt it start to faintly shutter and as i drove it just got worse to the point where it felt like i was running a jackhammer. It would kick in and have smooth spurts but mostly a shaky ride. I went and got some injector cleaner and dumped it in and i hope it helps. Can anyone think of anything that would noticeably ease its way in like this did besides the bad gas circulating through? Its a 97 250-5.4-4x4. I hope its the gas because this thing is killing me already.

put some extra injector cleaner or if they sell 85% ethanol, get 2 gallons and add that. in Illinois we have 15% ethanol (about 3 gallons in a 20 gallon fillup) in the standard gas. that absorbs any water and keeps injectors clean. works good.
if that dont clear it up in 20-30 miles, then i would look for a code. maybe you have a COP failure or plug failure and its just a concidence. How old are the plugs?

I put 2 bottle of cleaner in it and its a 25 miles commute to work so i hope it works. The plugs however, I won't lie, have been neglected since i got it about 3 years ago and i would assume for quite some time prior to. Good weekend project i guess to change them regardless the outcome of the cleaner it sure couldn't hurt. No CEL btw due to it being burnt out so it may be on...but not on.
