Hi I have seen an AeroStar front suspension put in a 54 F100. I have a 49 F1 and would like to do the same,problem is it is about 4 inches to wide. It looks like it would be possible to take 4 inches out of the center and weld and gusset it together again. My concern is the steering width,any ideas? Thanks 27TV8

 

80's jag xj front suspension is almost a bolt in for the 49 F1 do a search lots of discussion and several people have done it already.
