Question Engine rebuild kits: who should I buy from?

I am about to rebuild the engine from my wrecker. Who should I buy the rebuild kit from?

I do a lot of business with these guys through my shop.
Good parts and good prices.
Probably no better or worse than many others but I can vouch for them.
See if they have what you are needing and compare. That is about the best you can do.

Is the engine shop going to put it together?
If so I'd let them buy, maybe you get a litle off the top.

I was never a big fan of someone bringing me a box full of parts and saying "Here put it together" Usually if something they bought it was My Fault.

Went to the machine shop, Story said it looks to good to mess with. He said to he wanted to check it over some more, but he doesn't think we will have to do much to it.

Yep, thats what Story said rings, bearings, gaskets, and oil pump!

I bought a complete rebuild set from falconglobal on e bay for a 312 y block and saved about $400.00. The only thing I did not use were the lifters because they were made in china.
Had the original refurbished to as good as new. The rest of the parts were fine. I would
buy there again.
