I didn't mean that it was his crews fault, more along the lines of him and his crew not gelling together. Yeah, he had problems with his last crew but at least he won with DEI lol.
My boss offered me tickets for both days at Kansas speedway awhile back. for the trucks and the nascar race but that was the weekend we went to UMTAH to get JR lol
Dang, We tried taking 40 back from the speedway. Hypo had it blocked off before 7. Rerouted you up to Parallel then over to 7. Problem was the ramps off of 7 to 40 is closed for construction. So we ended up on 70. It was a mess. If we would have known we would have taken 70 in the first place. All the time I was thinking, If you lived in Tongee, I would really upset.
When ya live in Tongie, ya figure out the back roads.
Remember taking 7 south to 70? About a half mile further south, there's a wallymart on the eastside of 7. Make a left and take Kansas Ave to 158th st, make a right and head back north to 24/40.
Or, just stay on Parallel til 155th st, (Basehor, KS) then head south to 24/40.
We've been doing one or the other every night for the last six months...
Ya we figured that since it was bumper to bumper traffic until 7 we might as well just shoot down to I-70. But with stranglers from the Chiefs game combined with race traffic, The toll both was back up for miles. Normally it takes us about 35 minutes to get home and in the door after the races. I think it took us close to an hour and fifteen minutes that day.
