460 Cat
Hey guys this is my first time here ...I just purchased a very nice 92 f350 (single axle) 460..and I have noticed that it has a very HUGE cat converter..my question would I gain anything buy going with 2 smaller Cats than one huge one..and for you fellas that have this system what did you do..if anything..to make it better than stock ..the reason I ask is because my mustang cobra had 2 cats on each pipe ..and I dont know if this big cat would make the 460 on the truck be less able to breath. I still have to go through a clean air inspection here in Oregon..or I would get rid of the whole unit....but I was talking 2 smaller so called High Flow on the 1 pipe..an not the big "get in the way of everything' cat it has...thanx Guys

Take a look at this, it bolts in like the original, is rated to handle the 460, and is good up to around 13,000 lbs GVW. it is slightly louder than the stock cat, and less restrictive. It should still easily pass emissions in Oregon.
