hey guys, finally gettin on here tonight.

got home after class to find out the *blank-ing* charter internet isn't working again. so i call in and get an actual person for a change...it was really nice once u got past the accent and stuff. pretty much came down to that they didn't kno wat was going on and they scheduled a tech to come out on wed. to look at everything...here's the kicker, they're going to charge 55 bucks for the "service" too! so for kicks and giggles, i waited a while and called in again and got the automated troubleshooter and got 'er nailed down to the splitter for the tv and modem is junk. so i'm gonna call charter tomorrow and tell them to stick they're service guy and they're fee straight up their tailpipes!!! crying out loud, ppl can't even follow a trouble shooting flow chart anymore? what's happened to America?

other than that, how is everybody doing??

Kenny the first problem was that the person that you were talking with more than likely was from India.
With that aside, it really is depressing with the quality of customer service that we get today. I was having issues with my broadband card from Verizon Wireless a few months ago right after I got it. Spent over an hour on the phone with them and got it so that it seemed to be working a little faster. A month goes by and call back again and after another hour, I told them that I thought that it was the card itself and they agreed. Sent me a replacement and have been a happy camper since.

Good morning guys...

Late night for me watching the Steelers trying to lose. I hope they get their act together, I don't even think they realized they were in a real game until the third quarter! It was kind of funny hearing the fans in the stadium boo their own team, but it seemed to help!

Once again, another busy day around here for me. No end in sight, either.

Speaking of...... Shaun Alexander to the Steelers???
Could it be?

J how ironic!

The Steelers have temporarily (so they say) lost Willie Parker to a knee sprain, and rookie Rashard Mendenhall is done for the year with a fractured shoulder blade. Thus, Alexander could be getting a call from the Steelers as soon as today — if he hasn’t heard from them already.
Then again, the Steelers might opt to bring back the devil that they know in Najeh Davenport, who spent the past couple of seasons with the Steelers before being released. Other available veteran free agents include Cedric Benson and Tatum Bell.
The Steelers should also consider calling the Titans about the availability of Chris Henry, a 2007 second-round pick who has gotten lost on a roster that features Chris Johnson and LenDale White. (Then again, the Titans would probably want more for him than the Steelers are willing to sacrifice for a 12-game fill-in.)
Alexander has visited the Bengals, Saints, and Lions since being dumped by the Seahawks.
