I asked a lot of questions about verifying Engine/Transmission for a 1965 F100 yesterday.

I haven't been able to load a picture of the Warranty Card for the truck I'm looking at, but here's the info from the picture:

Warranty number: F10JD481593
2nd line: 114 K F100 481 F 12
3rd line: 5000 114 3600 65


Any help decipering this info is appreciated!

No such thing as a Warranty Card, this info is from the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.

Yesterday, you asked about a 1964, today you say it's a 1965, but the following is 1964 related.

F10 = F100 2WD

J = 223 1V I-6.

D = Dallas TX Assembly Plant.

481593 = 1964 .. assembled December 1963.

114" Wheelbase.

K = Bengal Tan.

F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVWR

481: 4 = Light Beige Crush Vinyl & Light Beige Rib Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

F = Borg Warner T-98 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

12 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.89-1 / No Limited Slip / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

114 net HP @ 3,600 RPM

65 = Oklahoma City OK Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
