That works nice. What size & type (horiz/vert) of engine are you lookin for Frederic? I'll keep my eyes out for you.

You can call off the search. I found a '99 Crapsman in PA out by Reading with a double bagger and is 14.5 HP for 275.00... To boot, it even runs and doesn't smoke...

any vert 8hp-22hp elec start will work, brand and shaft specs irrelevent. the murray originally had a 12hp B&S and when that popped i slapped on a used 22hp vanguard... and that popped and now it's running a 5hp B&S. all three were elec start,but the 5hp thats there only gives 1 amp to charge the battery... so it never stars any longer... i'd keep it on the charger but then it would be in the way lol

a could alway put on the disassembled rover v8 i have no use for... lol

i think the pantera cleveland would be a more efficent power source.

LOL, but a 4.0L rover v8 fully dressed with accessories weighs in at 219 lbs

well, digging a mower out of a lawn isn't fun... unless of course i have big friends with good backs...
