when i had my '83 i had talked to some guys about doing the body. what they're doing now with small dings and dents is using a really heavy polymer primer and giving it as many coats as necessary to fill the ding. they said it hardens better than bodyfill, grasps to the metal better, and it stays somewhat flexible.

there was a saleon bondo at costco that week, me must of bought a drum full!!! just went through this with my front fenders, previous owner brazed patches onto the fenders and then coated the fender with 1/4 to 1/2 of fiberglass filler, pulled it off as it was never finished and was pealing off and wow! warp city! not worth fixing them!!
