morning all. For the first time in a few years I was able to run on a treadmill this morning. Been walking for the past 6 months to stretch my back out before and after work and yesterday I tried running a little and my lower back thought it was ok.

I am doing it for the rehab and the money. we started a biggest loser deal at work. $10 to get in. $3 a week if you gain at the weekly weigh-in, $1 if you stay the same and $0 if you lose. The person with the biggest loss after 10 weeks gets the money.

sounds like you need to get one started. I got really un-motivated when I started my office job. I used to work construction and was in pretty good shape and now I have gained 20 pounds since the 2nd of June. Time to lose some weight.

Same here. When I transferred to this job, I no longer worked out in the plant. I used to walk a couple of miles a day, just going back and forth to the plant and the shop. Now, I mostly sit, and it shows!

Same here. The biggest problem is I am in the office that for the past 18 years has sponsored the monthly birthday parties. Over the years this has resulted in bringing food everyday. It ranges from donuts & bagels, to bakery carrot cake and home made green chili. I feel like we eat all day.

Enough about food. You guys can eat food and not gain a ounce, then there is us girls, we look at food and gain ten pounds. Then you guys are trying to be sweet and say you look great honey. Thanks for making us feel better but we know.
