Aternator problems
Yes ,
I have a 1991 Ford f-350 dually truck.
I just put two new batteries and a new alternator on it. When I crank it the battery hand goes on over charge nad the aternator gets to hot.What could be my problem

Welcome to FTE. I think your problem would be better asked in your forum. It's one line below us in the non-powerstroke section. There are tons of sharp guys there that will surely be able to help you out. Your charging system may be different than ours and we may miss something small. But from my perspective, it sounds like a voltage regulator is shot. But that's just a guess. Again, welcome to the forums and we are glad to have you. Good luck man.

it could be the wrong alternator, i have seen that on the older f-series gas motors, or a faulty regulator, dont forget that the alternator will always get very hot anyways. but the overcharge is definatly a prob
