Good morning New York...I watched some of the pre-game ceremonies last night. Very well done!!! I also watched some of the game...not much...and thought it was a great touch when they played the recording of Bob Shepard introducing Derek Jeter. Shepard is a voice I will always remember. The Saawx broadcasts use a recording of their former longtime PA announcer Sherm Feller before every game..."Ladies and gentlemen...boys and girls...welcome to Fenway Park"!!!

I was off from work today and was trying to finish cutting up my fire wood and mow my lawn, but I ended up taking my wife to the doctors this afternoon.

Thanks for asking Carl.... she is doing fine.

She usually gets a couple of sinus infections each year and she has another one right now. She had not been feeling good off and on most of last week. I mentioned to her that she should get into the doctors last Friday and she did not call. Needless to say, she felt like crap yesterday because it was draining into her chest a little. She was able to get into the doctors yesterday afternoon and he gave here some antibiotics to help clear it up.
