D3afrb

This is the tag number on a 2bbl carb on a 351 in my truck.

This is 73 carb. Any way to deter what car or truck its from using this number?

Hi Vic,

Those two barrel Motorcraft Carbs were used on just about everything (if it is a Motorcraft) Can ya post a picture of it?

I'm no expert but my little book says...Tradename: Motorcraft 2100 Series

1973 full size Ford 351-W, 2V, auto-trans, no A/C, 1.21 Venturi dia.

I think it was rated around 350 CFM...

That's exactly the information I was looking for.

Not being an expert on Ford accessories I was not sure if this was a 2100 or a 2150 or what vehcile this may have been installed on originally.

I am sure this has come up before, but what is the difference between a 2100 and a 2150 carb?

Is the 2150 the smog version of the 2100?

From what I've read...

The model 2150 wasn't introduced until 1975...

just a revised model 2100 used until carburetors were phased out altogether

in the early-to-mid-1980's...
