98 4.2 F150 Fuel Rail Disconnect

Help Please. I've searched but found nothing. Is their some kind of trick to remove the intake and return Fuel Lines. I'm replacing the engine and I need to disconnect the Fuel Rail. I have the special tools for the 3/8 and 1/2 line that is suppost to allow to release the lines but I'm still not able to release it.

Finally after twisting, turniing, pullling, pushing and then removing the bolts for the fuel rail it they came apart. They should call them 'Quick Connects Slow disconnects'. Thanks for the reply.
