Steel birds tore through the sky,
Carrying loved ones of you and I.
Twin towers standing tall,
Too strong, we thought, to ever fall.
Those birds of prey broke our hearts
As we watched our world fall apart.
Steel wings cut through flesh and bone
But could not destroy our soul.
More targets, more lives,
The toll still untold.
Overwhelming fear and heartache
Filled every home.
Remember those who were lost.
Fight for those memories at any cost.
Remember freedom as it rings loud.
Remember freedom and stand proud.
Sadness and confusion give way,
Keep faith in a new day.
We will find the nest from which those birds came,
Tear them down without shame.
Our hearts are filled to burst
With love for all those hurt.
Together as a nation, a world, we stand tall.
We will move past the horror we saw.
Remember those who were lost.
Fight for those memories at any cost.
Remember freedom as it rings loud.

Hello everyone:
Sept. 12, 2001, the day after.
9/12/2001 was class commencement day for me at the then East Coast Aero Tech where I had enrolled to become an FAA certificated aircraft mechanic.
The FAA rep. just swung by, in lieu of their usual class commencement speech.

Cliff expounds his "Buffalo Theory" to Norm.
“Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

I was going to pick up a SCT X2 but found out it can only check engine codes for Fords and not all ODB2. I was hoping to get 2 birds with one stone.

In hindsight I probably should have bought an X2, from what i read the X2 doesn't come with preloaded tunes, and I couldn't use any standard tunes due to having a van and its smaller turbo, et. al.
