Brush/grille guard help!!

I just bought a used brush/grille guard from someone, but they didn't have the instructions on how to install it. I think it's a Manik that fits a 99-04 model. The problem I'm having is getting the brackets, that replaces/relocates the tow hooks, installed.

I took the bumper off, removed the tow hooks and added the brackets, but then the bumper wouldn't slide over the brackets. I then took the brackets off, put the bumper back on, but now I can't get to the bolt locations on the frame. ARGGHHH......can anyone help me out here?

I was pretty sure you could get to the bolts with the bumper on. But I'll have to look.

I tried, but couldn't get to them. Maybe I was doing something wrong?

yeah, I've send a couple of emails but no response. Thanks for their number, that'll be the next thing I do.

I'ver removed my tow hooks before without removing the bumper. Kinda PITA to get to though.

There are three bolts on each hook coming up from the bottom through the frame rail. I had to use an extension with a universal on the end because one of the bolts is kinda behind the end of the leaf spring mount. I used a lot of WD-40 before trying to break loose. They eventually came out after a good soaking.
