How restrictive are the stock exhaust manifolds?
#16
I'm pretty sure we all can agree that headers, any commercially available headers, are going to likely be better than the stockers. For us towing people, as opposed to the high performance/high rpm oriented crowd, it sounds like the stock sets are quite adequate.

Ok, so. . .when I rebuilt my motor, I put in straight up timing chain and ground out the thermactor bumps. . .
I'm not really sure where I want to go. . .if I want to go. . .with this motor. . .so many options. . .
Would duel exhaust on the stock manifolds be worth it? Are there any tweaks that can be done to the stock manifolds that would be worth it? Porting/polishing?
Thanks! I don't want to dump a grand in headers than decide to try forced induction. . .or even a diesel swap. . .but do want a few extra ponies to have fun while I decide
