how bigger parts affect low end torque

ive seen it everywhere even on a little 302 stroker, you make 500 horses at 6-7000 or rpm, and you still got 300 lb. ft. under 3,000 rpm. So on lets say a 514 stroker, you put a big cam, big heads, huge exhaust, lets say a high rpm race motor pumping out 800+ hp at 6,000. I wanna know what the losses i create when i move the powerband sky high. (conanski if you can post some examples with that desktop dyno, dosent matter what engine, could even be a 351)

-basically a comparison of a low rpm puller and a high rpm screamer.
