Leaning Panel of Pizza
#16
I agree with fastfew and the other guys. You have pointed numerous problems with the springs, and the end solution is going to be replace all the springs. Check with the spring supplier you choose for the cast shims. I know we can get 2* shims at our local parts house. Order up some new springs, and you'll probably find that your leaning issue disappears.

Well,,,,,I finally got hold of caster wedges that could work. I put the new front springs, pins, and bushings on and HALLELUJAH BROTHERS AND SISTERS....ITS A MIRACLE....The leaning panel of pizza has transformed into a level, balanced, even sitting, uncockeyed, ressurected new man rolling the straight and narrow road to F1 salvation. Thanks for all the help FTE people. I NEVER,NEVER, EVER COULD HAVE FIGURED THIS OUT ALONE.`I an trying to post before and after shots. Thank you, thank you.......Now its on to finish the wiring and lights which means,,I'll be back soon

John, glad to see it worked out!! I'm getting ready to put my rear springs together, and hung. Might have a lead on a '71 rear end, hope so! Then, I should be able to at least button up the motor, and possibly make it "mobile" by Christmas...
Glad I could play a small role in getting you straight and "on the level"!!
