My son is stranded in OK with his truck not running well. He has checked the usual possible problems but so far, no luck. I'm trying to log on to the 7point3 web site to see if someone in OK is near him and could help but the site seems to not be available. Does anyone have any info about the site? Thanks for any help you can give.
7point3 has been down for a while. Maybe you can find a moderator and change your thread title to Help in OK, or start a new thread to get a locals attention.
Can you tell us what's wrong and what he's tried so far? Maybe we can offer some suggestions.
Chris, found your thread about the UVCH problem that you had thinking I would have that info when he called again. He has checked the oil level in the engine and HPOP, checked some of the wiring but I don't think the one you had trouble with, is checking the nut on the IPR, said the truck will run fine when he starts it and then starts to lope and go to a slow idle, hasn't died yet, doesn't smoke, has good fuel pressure on his pressure gauge which is after the filter, didn't say if there is response to the fuel pedal or if it has enough power to move.
Don't forget to check the air filter, and see if he recently filled up. Maybe a bad tank of fuel? I'd agree checking the pedal assembly sounds like a good idea. Dropping down to idle sounds like it may be TPS related.
Next installment of the continuing story....... farmb0y had been to Tony Wildman's to do live tuning which I hear was very successful. He was on his way back home when the problem developed. He has been in contact with Tony and they determined that the problem may be a bad injector on the passenger side. Tony is on his way to the rescue with tools and another injector to try to get it running well enough to get it home. White Buffalo has been in contact with farmb0y, Tony and me so there is help on the way. Just hope that nothing too serious is causing the problem.
Thanks for all the help and advice. I was wondering if anyone would be on early this morning and was pleasantly surprised.

I have heard that AMiller has been really busy at work and other things. He had posted a while back about the site going down for maintence and it never came back up on line.
I was thinking of making a list and sending it out to everyone, kinda like the RHN but on a form that you can keep on your computer or print out. What do you guys think??
i think thats a great idea Jim...lucky for me i copy and pasted the phone## and addresses off of the 7.3 road side...but dont give any of that info out..there was an agreement when that list was made and i stick to it....
