1999 ranger
I am looking at buying a 99 Ranger with a 4.0L auto 4x4. What are some of the things that I should look out for on that model year? They are listing the truck at $5,995 they would give me $1,000 on my trade in, so all in all plus tax I'm looking at 5,430. Does that seem like a pretty good price? My limit is 5,000 do you think I should be able to talk them down to that price?

Thats exactly the truck Ive got, 99 Ranger 4.0 4X4 XLT, its got 160,000 miles on it, and other than a few little cosmetic problems, I've had nothing but good luck with it. Depending on the mileage it has, Id say 5000 is probably a pretty good price
