Well, there is fit and then there is "fit." Chances are it will "fit."

The Dodge trucks are wider than the Fords or Chevys and all 3 have different overall dimensions, so it may sit on there but how well it looks or fastens to the bed is another story.

i won a shell for my 94 longbed on ebay.

winning bid of $5.05 for topper, $30 for clamps, had to drive from cleveland, ohio to near detroit, michigan and back, i think it was around $60-70 for fuel and food.

never found one for less then $175 locally so i did ok.

I took some rough measurements and it looks like width would be ok but the length appears to be a few inches shorter, the cap that is. Too bad because it is only $100 and it is a raised back fiberglass one. JK89cat that is too bad we are so far apart. The search continues.

I sold the topper (Leer fiberglass) off my 95 F150 LB to a guy to use on his 96 Dodge 1/2 ton. It fit fine up front but the Dodge box rails taper slightly inward towards the rear compared to the Ford so it sat slightly out over the rails on his truck...still clampable/sealable, etc but hung over the sides by probably a solid inch vs the front. Also, the Dodge cab rear is rounder than the Ford one as I recall so at least with the glass topper I had, it had a good sized gap close to the cab at the top.

This is the opposite scenerio of what you are doing, but depending on the topper style I think this translates to that the Dodge topper will be narrow enough at the back that you will see more of the rail than the front (and maybe have a hard time clamping it?) and that the topper may hit your cab? Guess it depends on the topper style...an old aluminum style would probably be tweakable enough to make work close enough but spreading the rear to fit would then make the rear flip up glass not seal so I dunno.

Ford to Dodge worked well enough for his purposes, but I suspect the other way around will be one of those 'close but no cigar' deals. I would hold off and keep looking for a Ford one. I had a hellova time finding a home for mine when I got rid of it and they are around for sale cheap regularly around here (course mine was an 8' box so maybe they are more common toppers?).
