Are those solid? Kinda look like white charcoal. I'd take a 1/16th of an inch drill and drill a few holes in them if they are. Top through bottom and side to side and see if it causes the pot to work properly until you can get new filters.

Mark the filters are actually like a white cotton with loose carbon on the inside.

It's forced purchasing, and it drives me nuts! Manufacturers purposefully resize certain things to force a consumer to buy their particular product, instead of making certain products more standardized so you could purchase them anywhere. Same reason things are designed to fail after a certain amount of time..it forces you to go out and buy a new one.

Here's what I want to know: Why do hot dogs come in 10 packs but buns only come in packs of 8? Is this so we buy 2 packs of buns for our 1 pack of hotdogs so the buns can rot and mold in the cupboard? If we but another pack of hot dogs to use up the rest of the buns, we then have hotdogs and no buns to put them in.

You've now seen a glimpse into my neurotic mind.

4 packs of dogs, 5 of buns - ziplock the excess and freeze... :P

since i'm anti-coffee, i'm changing direction:

who's doing what this weekend? I'm taking the dogs camping with some buddies - first time camping with the 2nd dog - i may make her sleep in the truck, since she likes to chew zippers...

Congratulations, Scott!!! Sounds like a promotion that is well deserved. Since production runs 3 shifts, will you be on call after you have put in your 8 hours? 'Course, management doesn't punch a clock..... Hope all goes well for you.

Congratulations are in order for sure. But man, 24 years on the same job?? That is so different from how I lived my life. But take my word for it, you will come out the winner in the end. I just could not punch a clock. When I was handed my Honorable Discharge and DD-214 I made 2 promises to myself. I was never going to stand in another line, and I was never going to be yelled at again. That is exactly what I did too.

Me and the wife will be in New York, New Hambster, Vermont, Maine, And then Hershey PA for the RV show, won't be on a computer for two weeks. I'll get to see if the DP-Tuner will help with the mileage carrying the tc.

Holy cr*p I almost put something forum related in my post. Had to back up and delete it. I will start a thread tomorrow or Tuesday on that. LOL

Lisa, FECES? I understand the cocaine, but FECES? How does the crap get on the bills? I think thats funny. As far as water... thats what like about living in the sticks, we have a well and I also have spring water. I like my coffee but I just cant get into the fresh ground. As far as the weekend, I'm headed to the Tappahannock to do a little fishing.

Haven't you ever been to a strip club? you've seen where those dollar bills go right? Also, there are a lot of people out there who are pretty bad at washing their hands.

Here's an article on what is found on money:
factorfiction?: Looking For Germs? Check Your Money.

Not to freak anyone out. It's not enough to hurt ya.

I'm not going anywhere this weekend, staying at home and enjoying an extra day off.
