Hello,
I'm excited to see there is such a following on this site!
My name is Chris and I live just north of Evansville and work in the surrounding counties on the finest swimming pools around. I have a wonderful girlfriend and 4 outside cats.
I have owned my 1994 F150 4.9L 5speed(named Zoidberg) for less than a month and have already gotten some great advice here. Other rides include a 2002 Suzuki Ozark 250(quad) and a 2007 Dodge Caliber.
I look forward to the possibilities!
You are pretty close to me. I'm living near Avilla now.
How do you like the Escape? My wife and I are looking a buying one in the next year or so. What motor did you get?

How many miles on the F250?
She loves the escape! We got the Platinum with the bigger Ecoboost. 240 HP in that little car makes it scoot! We aren't getting anywhere near the 28 mpg, more like 22 average. But then she likes to keep the psi up if you know what I mean. My mom got the 1.6 (she liked ours so much she traded in her Buick Rainier for one) and you can really tell a difference in pep. The 1.6 is still snappy, but doesn't have that pull of the 2.0. You should definitely drive both. She gets 3 mpg better though too around town. She actually got 28 mpg on a trip to FL here recently averaging 80 mph.
I have 97k on the F250. Its a Texas truck, this will be its first Winter. Anyone have any recommendations for "winterizing" it? We've already a couple 11 degree mornings and it hasn't hiccuped at all. Loving the truck!
