Blown Head Gasket

I have an 87 Ford F250 with a 302 EFI and Im swapping engines I have another 302 out of an 86 EFI is this going to be a problem I mean is there anything that may jump out and suprise me?

No........except that the 86 has the crappy heads E6's. You could swap the e7 heads over.That will give you a little more compression assuming the E7 heads are still ok.Nothing wrong with the E6 heads unless you want performance then those heads were not worth the work. You can use any 86-95 5.0L engine for your truck but it has to be stripped down to a long block...then swapp the truck parts over.Intake,oilpan,pick up,exhaust manifolds ect

That's a false alarm actually, an '86 truck motor should have E5 heads on it which are all but identical to the E7 heads, only the Mustang got the new E6 heads in '86.

Engine swap complete

Well it took me 3 days to do it at my appartment. can you say "not getting the deposit back"? I managed to swap out my engine. the 86 motor did have some differences from the 87 such as the fuel rails, timing chain cover, and water pump. I swapped over alternater, powersteering pump and basically all parts that have a pulley in order to stay with the surpantine belt. it runs good. except I have a type of a whistle or stange noise coming out of it any Ideas??? vacuum lines mixed up or something. it runs strong though so I dont know.
