Good to see some guys stepping up.

It's a lot of fun getting a chapter going - you'll need to spend a little time at first getting people involved by sending pm's and by hunting folks down on the boards and in the intro thread. But once you get the ball rolling it's a good feeling to see the group take off knowing that you helped to get it there.

I truly believe that it's one of those things that you get out of it what you put in to it.

 

I know Zach from the 99-03 forum... will be a wonderful leader if all goes thru.

CL is a fun position, every where you go in the state you have an opportunity to meet and greet people. As Steve said, it takes a lil' to get it going, but once it goes, it goes.

I spend about 30 mins at most a day on my chapter stuff.
But I do almost everything over the phone. Calling members really helps us all stay in touched and keeps the network going. I try and call at least 1 member a day and build some sort of bond with them where they want to talk to you.
I work on a few at a time, then call around. If they live near me, I make sure to hang out. If I'm in their area, I call them up and drop by.

 

I'd be more than willing to do it. I've lived in central Indiana all my life and still plan on staying in Indiana after graduation.
