Cam positioning sensor

I have an 02 f-150, v-6. I had to replace the cps yesterday and it seems to run fine now, but it squeaked pretty bad the 3rd or 4th time I drove it but it hasn't done it since. Any idea on whether I should replace anything else on it? I pulled the new sensor off again just a few minutes ago and nothing seems to be broke or anything so I am stumped on whatshould do. What do I need to look for as far as a bad synchronizer, shaft, etc.?
