So what is your favorite type of wood to cut and burn???
I prefer hard maple for ease of splitting and heat output. Cherry for the smell.
The load that I am currently cutting is mainly beech, hard maple, hickory and a little soft maple.

The only wood I burn is in a camp fire. I am not versed well enough as to what burns the best. To me a camp fire is a campfire. lol

Yup.

Good night. Hopefully your muscles aren't too sore from cutting.

My neighbor has the splitter.
We just cut some Beech, red oak and maple trees at work.
Love burning cherry or apple, but I really like it in the smoker.
I have a full fireplace and a Kodiak stove which keep everything
toasty but the wood has to be smaller for the stove.
Hey Neil, how much is s cord going for around you?

Good morning George and all the rest.
George, I understand your neighbor may be bunking in the white house soon.
Hope he takes his evil dog with him.
