Did a bit of research on fuel tanks, my truck is a 76 F-350 Trailer Special, SUper Cab, the listings I found have front tanks for the regular cab, and rear tanks for the regular pickup. From what I know about my fords I'm guessing the rear tank wont fit becasue the space between the 2 rear crossmembers is gonna be short, but I can't see where the front tank would make a difference.
Does the trailer special have the same set back rear axle that the super camper special has??? if so is the frame width of your truck should be 34" to 34.5" wide. Ford did make a tank that went behind the rear axle of the SCS, Very Hard to Find! However I have seen one recently, dont know if its still there or not. was in the wrecking yard in Merced,CA. still in the SCS.
My 79 SC had a tank behind the axel and the front tank. I went to a fuel cell and would love sombody to take them off my hands. Senders and hoses included and no rust except surface. I can't imajine how I could ship used tanks but if anybody wants them then fiqure it out or come get them in Colorado.

Ya, it looks like a camper special. What about the front tank? Should the regular cab tank fit the supercab? I can do without a rear tank.
