Chris very cool about being master tech with Ford. Maybe one day I will work my way up to that. I'm Midas certified and soon I'm going start working on ASE hopefully.
Fred I can help at your house if needed, but I can't this weekend. But let me know how things go and if you dont get done this weekend I can arrange to get to your house at some point. You live near Woodbridge right? I can even come up one night after work if you need.

No problem Tom, I managed to get the four rivets out of the left side of the frame, once I got the leaf spring out of the way. The right side will be more amusing because there's a rotted exhaust system in the way... but we'll figure it out.
Of course the bolts in the shackle are still there, resistant to hammers, pry bars, grinders and loud swearing
So far I've not ruined the brake line. I'll call out around 9 or so... have some dishes to do and take a shower first
